The Dolphins Quartet is a string quartet and composer collective dedicated to uniting spirits through musical interpretation, innovation, and improvisation. Based in New York City and formed at The Juilliard School, the Dolphins strive to make chamber music vibrant, relevant, personal, and reflective of our time. Their programs regularly feature works from the classical canon alongside underappreciated gems and original compositions.

The Duo Ex Machina, saxophonist Randal Despommier and pianist Jason Yeager, reunites at Piano on Park on March 1st for Cosmic Sketches, a concert honoring the centennials of Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Composed by Lei Liang using X-ray fluorescence analysis of minerals to trace their elemental peaks, the data points were transformed through software into musical harmonies.
